If you are on a bus or in a park, take a look around. Odds are almost everyone is looking at their cell phone, working on their notebook, or enjoying the luxury of a Kindle Fire or an iPad. Let’s talk a little about each of these and how far they’ve come in the past few years.
First, think about cell phones. I remember when I first found out that cell phones were able to have Internet on them. That was the coolest thing in the world to me. I had to get that feature immediately. I used Internet at my home all the time, now I would be able to use it anytime I want. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. Now a mobile phone can do just as much as a computer, pretty much. At first it was mostly the Blackberry that was used as a smart phone. At this point, iPhones and Androids are dominating the market. They have large screens that you can even watch movies or television shows on. You can video chat with someone. What more could you ask for?

Think about notebooks or laptops a few years back. They used to be a luxury not everyone could enjoy. Now you can go to Pan era and look around and you will see almost everyone person there with a notebook working on something. Additional to that, some of these are equipped with quad core processors and 1 TB hard drives. Just ten years ago it was impossible to find a desktop computer with these types of capabilities.
The same goes for tablets, such as iPads, Kindle Fire, or Android Tablets. Just a few years ago someone would not think of these things when you mention the word Tablet. Now they are increasing in popularity in a huge way. Many businesses give their employees iPads so they are able to communicate or work from anywhere. The power they give people are incredible. Also, the rate at which these tablets are improving is incredible. The Kindle Fire just released a 4G version that is able to connect to the Internet at blazing fast speeds. There are many other tablets that already do this as well.
So what is in store in the future? It is difficult to say, but I highly anticipate what the future brings in terms of laptops, notebooks, smart phones, tablets, and more. In a few years there will probably be a popular mobile device that we do not even know of yet. I don’t know about you, but I am eager to see what the future brings.
